I've got a purple mushroom(1/2") that will not stick to a rock. Used super glue gell and will only hold for about a day. what am i doing wrong?

you can go to walmart and in the fabric department you can get like a black mesh fabric really cheap. Just place the shroom on the rock, place a big enough piece of mesh over it not tight and not lose, then you can rubberband the mesh to the rock and leave it like that for about a week. Should be attached at the end of the week. I do it all the time.

I have had luck with the glue, but you have to leave them out of the water for @ 15minutes. You could also put it in a tupperware type deal with rubble and it will attach in a couple days.

I got some to stick with super glue a couple of weeks ago. Of course, others fell off while I was at work and floated away somewhere. I'm sure they've attached to something by now, but I haven't found the floaters.

You can also toothpick it to a rock until it attaches then remove the toothpick.

Just dry off the softy and glue it with the gel super glue, never had a problem. ;)
