View Full Version : Anyone SA retailers sell Water General RO membranes?

I just got my FilterDirect order and realized I failed to order the most important item - RO membranes. Does anyone in town retail the 4th-stage RO membrane for the Water General 6100?

Never heard of the Water General. Most likely they use the same RO membranes other filter companies use as most just assemble the parts and slap their names on them. As long as you know the GPD and size of it you should be able to pick one up online. I know Wolf Reef was selling some RO stuff, not sure what he has in stock though. I think Polkster (name here on MAAST) also sells RO/DI stuff as well.

Just make sure that you get a membrane that matches the existing one. If you go higher or lower you will need to change the flow restrictor to match the new membranes output rating.

Just make sure it is a standard membrane, sometimes companies use proprietary parts to force you to buy from them.
