I am starting my do not buy from them they suck campaign. I bought a brand new un-opened Wavemaster Pro (inc receipt) from a MAAST member and after 6 mo's it died, they say since "I" did not buy it they will not warranty it. I gave them all the info including purchase receipt and their reply is:


Good morning Clif.
I am sorry but we can’t do any thing for you, short of you buying the pump. We don't replace any unit or unit parts when they aren't bought at a store or on line.

I replied back to the last e-mail and they haven't even bothered to respond back. I know there are many, many people who have and love their products but the lack of explanation and the fact they aren't in any way concerned or willing to help makes me say they suck. Also note (which I pointed out to them) their attention to detail and concern for their customers by replying about my "pump" when the item purchased was not a pump and never was the word pump ever mentioned/typed anywhere.

Have the member you purchased it from return it. Then they dont have an excuse.

Thought about that but I included the receipt which had all his info on it. I figured they "may" be smart enough to catch that then I would be in a another pinch.
Thing is I really liked the product and was honest with them from the beginning but their response was BS to say the least not to mention the lamest excuse I have ever heard for poor customer service.

I asked them one time how to you run Ozone on the Turbo model skimmer and my reply was you have to basically convert it to a venturi skimmer. I then asked if they sell the venturi and never heard back......

their customer service is sad......good products though. I agree with Pete, I'm sure any MAAST member would do it for you including the one you bought it from.

It doesnt matter if they saw the receipt. If its him returning it there isnt much they can really say.

They can't even keep straight what you are e-mailing them about much less a receipt you sent! LOL
