i need some advice....with an eclipse 12g stock, integrated filter, 13w light,...i know corals are out of the question, but i want it that way since im not ready for it ( i know there is a 65w ballast that fits perfect in the hood but i'm not ready for corals ) HOW WOULD YOU SCAPE IT ( WHAT WITH ) AND WHAT WOULD YOU STOCK IT WITH ( SOMETHING FUN N EASY)???.......THANX :ph34r

what about live rock...would the live organisms die off since i only have 13w of flor lighting???
and what about a clown, a damsel, and two blennies??? what do you think??? thanx

Live rock..well, the coraline algea wouldnt really grow IMO..and if by live organisms you mean the beneficial bacteria..no it wouldnt die, since it doesnt not require light to live.
The damsel would probably beat the crap out of the clown in that small of a tank. Damsels get more aggressive as they grow old., 2 blennies would fight in a tank that small..I wouldnt go with that fish selection..

how about 15 lbs live rock....20 lbs regular sand....a clown, a blenny, 3 red legged crabs, 3 snails, a pistol shrimp??? thanx

Who told you that so i can hang him/her..thats absolutely ridiculous..only photosynthetic animals need light..hence photosynthetic..crabs are scavengers, snails detrivores

oh, great thanks....i will get to work then...what kind of meds, additives do you recommend i have handy....i have the dechlorinator conditioner, cycle to start beneficial bacteria, and that's it what would you recommendph stuff, calcium, etc??? thanx iappreciate u'r advice

no meds if you do everything correctly. use use RO water instead of tap..you dont need to worry about calcium since you dont have any corals..
