Everyone checks for them and then we are told that it doesnt measure for the other kind (Gary step in here) so then the kit is a waste.

Is there anyone that does test for "the other kind"?

Want to rent the kit out? Im curious.

A test kit for meta phosphate (the other kind) is just not practical on a hobbyist level. As I recall it takes about an hour just to prepare the sample and involves boiling acid. Any volunteers?

OK there is another method. If anyone wants to lay out about $100,000 for an Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrophotmeter let me know. I'll let you keep it at my house... as soon as Pete adds on a room for it.

I just don't understand why everyone just doesn't teleport the phosphates out of their tank like I do.

I had an Illudium PU-36 Space Modulator I used to remove phosphates. Would have sold it cheap, but some stupid rabbit took it. Ooooo, that makes me soooooo angry!

Pete, if there is I don't know about it. Can you send me a link on it so I can check it out?
