Tube Anemone out of tube

My tube anenome seemed to come out of his tube two days ago.....
He looks fine, other than he is out of the tube.
I thought that he was a gonner, but it appears that he has attached to a rock and is growing another tube...........

Do they do this?? Am I dreaming?

what happens when it comes out of its TUBE? it is still pulseing like the other and looks great just not in its tube

mine didn't have a tube when i got it, when i put it in the sand, it secreted a mucus which the sand stuck to. in about 3 days, it had a new tube.
