I think I have gotten them from Premium Aquatics for about $26. The problem is shipping on these guys. That's why we do group orders on them.

I was trying to get a group order a while back on Marine Depot since they offer free shipping if you can get a 6 bulb order on bulbs 46.5 inches or larger.

Here's there quote, also their URI VHO 60" are $25.


Shipping Costs: We can pack up to 6 lamps per box. Since fluorescent bulbs require special handling and packaging, we will only ship fluorescent bulb and power compact bulb orders of four or more bulbs free of shipping cost. 46.5" and longer bulbs are shipped free only if 6 or more bulbs are ordered. All 46.5" lamps and longer ship as an oversize package (30 lbs package).30-day warranty.

I couldn't get any response when I needed them so I ended up just buying local. Maybe donniekim would want to finish out an order of six since he started this thread. If not let me know, for $20 per bulb for 48" URI Super Actinics I could handle having a couple of extras sitting around.

Well I appreciate the offer guys but I live in Texas City,,,,,,,, Just not feasible to drive that way,especially with gas prices going the way they are!
