Giant Gigas clam

Some up today pictures of the gigas clam I donated to SeaWorld San Antonio. They stated he is about 2 1/2 feet!

O. K. can we get the full story? How old is he, how long did you have him? How big was he when you got him? Please more info? Looks cool!

Jime, haven't been there in a while. Used to love and go keep an eye on how much that clam would grow over the time. Still looking as good as ever though, that area is on of my favorites as Sea World.

I saw that clam a couple of weeks ago, any idea how old it is?

I had him acouple years in my 240 gallon tank. Which he was outgrowing very fast! I have some great pictures I will try and find of him in the tank.

Here is a picture of him when he was in my tank. The two black clowns are about two inches in length. This gives you an idea how big he was getting in my tank.

Jim, that is amazing! Any idea how much it weighed when you donated it?

Just think of all that calcium you bought that's sitting at Sea World now :D
