I finally got my new phoenix bulbs from a group order we did and put them in right away. here are comparison pics for you all to view and comment on. i may switch the vho's to regular actinics or even daylight bulbs. ill be sure to update pics with these as well.

Nice comparison shots, but WAY too blue for my taste! Should give your corals great color though!

seems they may be a little blue for me as well. that is why:

Thats the way my 25. gal used to look like (that much blue) with a XM 175 watt. 20K bulb, until I added a T5 retro for supplementation, 1 actinic blue and 1 white one, the color after adding supplementation is very well balanced. Crisp and clear..love it.
