What's It Doing?

So I have tempted fate again and recently bought a purple starfish (I forget what they are exactly...not Linkias I know).

For the first few days he was fine...then he got into this one spot and for almost a week he did barely moved at all.

That spot is right in the path of a powerhead and right across from the power filter. I thought the guy was a goner.

We turned the filter and ph off and the next day I find him like this.

whenever my orange linka goes somewhere I don't want him I knock him down with a net or water propulsion from my baister. this is also a good way to see if he's alive, since he will attempt to straiten himself out. i know this sounds a little barbaric, but it's better than just staring wondering what going on :D . my linka will sometimes "sleep" in a spot and not move for a long time, days......but for sure the first few weeks i initially put him in the tank he didn't really move, now he's all over the place. if you could get a closer shot of the body i'm sure someone on here can assess his condition.
