There are some great skimmers out there that are proven to work. I think this website has covered a bunch of them. I am not against using something new but I would hate to spend money on something that wasn't proven. Hopefully someone rings in?

you might shoot Pete a message, i purchased one of his skimmers and I know others that are extremely happy with theres, plus he is local and can help you with any other help you might need. Pete's the man....

Is there anything ~Pete~ can't build. LOL I am research skimmers right now as well. In sump but not sure what size I would need will have to ask him what he thinks.

Yeah I have seen some of Pete's skimmers in person, and judging byh the one he built for his tank they work awesome. As far as the ASM skimmers, they are just like the euro-reef skimmers except that they are built out of cheaper material. I have heard people being delighted with their ASMs. Based on what I have heard, I would give them a try but I think I would give one of Pete's skimmers a try first.

Frogguy, depending on your location, ReefOne also does VERY nice work down in Chorpus.
