I currently have two 13 watt pc retros from hellolights but both sockets have cracked and the bulbs and sockets need replacement. What's a good light to use for a fuge?

You can just get gro light bulbs from Home Depot or Loews and that would be fine for a fuge. I think they are about 14 watts each.

I use a screw in flouresent (Day Light) in a clip on shop light from Home Depot. The whole setup cost about $15 and I have a nice little community growing in the fuge

Yep,
Commercial Electric makes a screw in PC that you can get at home depot that is 6500K and 19W. I've got two in a 20" incadecent fixture for a 10gal. over my fuge and they work great. They also hold up to salt creep and moisture very well. Mine get encrusted with salt so I just run them under the faucet to clean them off.
Walmart is also starting to carry Lights of America, and they make a similar bulb in 6500K that alot of people use.

I use this also in my fuge. I originally tried the 2700K bulb from HD and had no growth, unless you count cyano. When I switched to the 6500K bulb my cheato took off and has never stopped growing. I trimmed out 75% of it 2 weeks ago and it is nearly ready for a trimming again.

I have the same basic setup and have had the same results with my cheato.

Just keep in mind that 6500K is close to the color of natural sunlight. The 2700K was probably to yellow/red.
