pistol shrimp

I was checking out the tank and noticed some movement on the sand bed to the right and when I looked closer the pistol shrimp was carrying out my dead watchman and then continued to dig ...

In this picture he has a good size amount on his claws, drops it and backs up to get more ... the tank never ceases to amaze me!!

thats a cool shrimp. if you ever catch it and you dont want let me know. did it kill your watchman.

I have no clue just happened to catch it carrying it out ... I dont want him out I put him in!!

Yeah, those are amazing creatures, i had a candy cane pistol shrimp for the longest time..

I have never seen it other than its antenna's sticking out since I put it in!!

yeah, one of my freinds commented the other day "every time i look in here, i see something new!" probably the nicest complement my tank has recieved.

I am 95% sure it is This Guy (http://www.seaslugforum.net/factsheet.cfm?base=dendnigr), which apparently only eats sponges, which it probably ran out of and that's why I am only now seeing it (looking for more of its favorite sponge).
