Well, I finally plumbed the wet dry and overflow today. First off, I think the flow for the return is too low. But the real problem is the little giant pump. It didn't run when i pluged it in so I dismantled the pump section. The bolts were too tight to allow the motor to turn the pump, but I got it going. The thing is it makes alot of noise :( . Does anybody have any experience with these pumps? Is this typical of this brand or style (external magnetic)? Would a submersable pump be any less noisey? I have lots of goodies to put in the tank but this is a setback to be sure.
