I am going to frag some of my Acros but wanted some input on how many frags is it safe to get out of each coral. I was thinking 3-5 per fragging session; please let me know if this is too much. Thank you in advance.

You can frag the whole thing and just start over from the base if you want to. That's what these frag farmers do some of the time.

Trade or sell are the main reasons why I am doing this. Let me know when we can meet.

Go to Home Depot to the screws section and ask for their plastic hex bolts . Bar code #030699167982 (5/16" X 1-1/2") they are only worth about .66 for two of them. You just cut them as long as you want them; they move a bit but will not slip through the eggcrate.

From the picture on the first post, I'd get about 30 small frags off of that. If you are not selling them right away I'd make half inch frags and next month when they are an inch you could sell them, or wait a couple months to get them to a larger size.

Thanks Tim! I like the half inch frags idea but will it take a long time before the mother colony looks nice?
