Shrimp in Nori clip

Trying out feeding shrimp "HEB" to my Niger Trigger, so I stuck it in one of Alex's floating nori clips, cuz it has serrated teeth to hold the shrimp..
Is this a good or bad idea for feeding him... what do ya'll think? :unsure

yeah him not biting me is a plus id say... but i was wondering on how long I should let the shrimp stay in the clip if he doesnt eat it all.. it half a med shrimp peeled

I'd wouldn't leave it more than 45 min. How big is your trigger?

pretty big.. almost full grown id say

He should be able to eat half of it in 30 min.

My large Blue Throat can about half a shrimp pretty fast.

I cut mine in small bites and feed one at a time. Do not buy imported shrimp, HEB and Wal Mart now sell imported shrimp and I don't know if I would trust it for my fish

Please check your sorces before posting what a Company may or may not have. I visited 2 HEB's today and both carry US caught and farm grown shrimp. They did have one pile from Korea. It is clearly marked on the label where the shrimp is from. I would take the US caught shrimp over any of the others.
