If you're thinking of "crystal sea marine mix" they have a formula called "bio-assay" which does not have the dechlorinator, and I used that for years; I think it's one of the best salts out there. Some people who had tanks with instant ocean tried switching to it and experienced some coral bleaching, leading to what must have been the longest and most heated thread in reefcentral history. By the time I checked out of RC, it was at least 50 pages long; maybe more, I can't remember. If you're starting a new tank, or not using IO, I really recommend it. There's another one called "Marine Environment" made in california that's also very good.

I also heard really good things about a new one, Tropic Marin Pro Reef Salt, but at $69 a bucket I cant afford to use it :o

I was one of those that encountered several bleaching events using AquaCraft Bio Sea. I also wouldnt recommend it, or any other "bio-assy" salt if your tank is already established with another salt brand.

I use Crystal Sea Marinemix "Bioassay Laboratory Formula" and have for some time. It works well for me. Can't speak to the bleaching issue as I started the tanks with this salt.
IMO you are better off to pick a salt and stick with it rather than change to the latest and greatest each time something new comes along.
