Todd,

If I hadn't seen it in person I would have been more inclined to think you were a photo shop reefer.

Really nice......

Todd, I heard GaryP talking about your tank and your amazing corals at the meeting and that is why I asked if you could please post pics of your tank. Gary, you were right. This is an amazing tank. Pete, we've got a winner. Todd, thanks for posting pics.

Hey Jade, the fan is PERFECT! Thanks a ton for the good deal.

I didn't like my last post........I didn't mean I have a bunch of MONEY, I meant it takes all the money you can scrounge up, find, hide, charge! :) And about 10x what you ever planned on. It also takes lots of reading, study, and really good coral people who are willing to answer questions and are not snobby---like Paletta and Joshi.

I don't submit anything of my own. If someone else wants to I'll work with ~pete~ but that's no me--trying to push my own stuff.

Thank you all for the nice comments.

Also, you'd see ZERO pictures if Scuba Steve hadn't been so darn nice to come over and show a dumb*ss he didn't even know how to do them! That's what REALLY sold me on MAAST.

I think we knew what you meant Tood. I am planning mine out right now and have found that it will take me about $1000 to get it going. Working slow and patience will make my tank one day look like yours hopefully. LOL keep up the great work.

Its not pushing your stuff its showing the rest what can be acheived as well as helping them within your write up as to how you get your results. I would be glad to work with you and help you out. Let me know and again beautiful tank!

Nice tank Todd. Saw some of your stuff on frags.org, great stock. Do you still have any of those blasto polyps?

TexasTodd

Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

Wow, that does look great! Wish I could see it in person too.

Rather than looking at it as "pushing your stuff", maybe you could look at it like this: There are many of us that are newer to the hobby- maybe not total "newbies", but let's just say the next stage after "newby". We learn a LOT from seeing and hearing about all of the things people with really successful tanks do. I for one must have read NaCl's TOTM thing 20 times, getting different ideas about equipment, setup, husbandry, etc. It's a way for you to share with others that haven't had such a beautiful tank (yet :D ) some of the things you've learned and how you came about making it work so well.

JMHO!

Yeah Todd has a bad ***** tank set up. Went by a few weeks ago to check it out and he gave me lots of good info on setting up one of my own. Thanks again and I hope to by again soon.

Would you mind sharing the info? :)

With a tank that nice I'm sure we could all really benefit.

Common Todd, you can do it. Pete will help ya. It is not like bragging, it is educating reefers on what worked well for one of their peers. You can do it. Todd! Todd! Todd! Todd! Common everybody, join me. Todd! Todd! Todd!

Hey guys. I already submitted my tank last weekend for the TOTM for June.

If it's picked I'll go in to all the data, products, suppliers, and screw ups I've made on this particular tank.

Lonestar, sorry to send you away without any frags that day. But glad to see you and Dan are getting all set up correctly now.
