Snails in overflow?

Is it ok to put snails in the overflow? I just noticed that the algae in there is building up. It is a 150T RR, so the overflow chamber is good sized.

They can pretty much crawl in and out as they please, but be careful. They can stop up the overflow.

josh look in your sump I bet a couple where sucked down there.... I had a supersized turbo go into mine and clog it i was ****ed water everywhere :( I had escargo that night....
