so its time to build a canopy... I'll need to fit 3 250w MH w/ reflectors and 2 T5's into a small space (72x18). I will also need to figure out a way to squeeze in a moonlight system

here are a few options I thought might work out, any advise would be great

option 2 (middle) seems to be the best, but at 18"W I'm going to have to bend the reflector to fit them in

yeah, seem like a no brainer to me too, but I thought I'd ask because the moonlight is going to make me squeeze the reflector on the MH a bit. mabye I can fit them in easier once I see this constructed

thanks for the help

I'll go with the last diagram. The closer you get the T-5's to the water the better.

they will all be on the same "height" level. Thats just the basic construction plans I'm working on for the canopy. I've decided to loose the drawer pulls and go simple with several "slats" on each side. That way I can adjust the height of the bulbs easliy, plus I will be able to not only push the lights back for daily access but I can raise them as well for major access.

I'll take pics when it's done

I still like the last one.

I guess what I'm saying is that the last one is all of them, its the basic design that can be altered to fit any of the above options...

this further ill may clear it up
