Another Fin Addict treat for our tank.
Just thought I would share since I can't post to my gallery yet.
This is definitely my favorite fish.

Another great thing about this fish is it will eat the roasted nori while none of the other fish would touch the stuff.
It has triggered a feeding response from all the other fish to eat it.
The wrasse is even eating roasted nori now.
Best part- 50 sheets of the stuff for $5.

I hope it's the "unseasoned" kind! :innocent VERY nice fish! I love when a fish does GREAT when you first stick it in the tank! No worries! :D

Thats a beautiful rabbit fish. I saw a gold striped this morning at a LFS and they wanted like $99.00 for it. :o
This one is easily as nice if not more colorful. I have a foxface but I'd love to get another rabbitfish or so.

Actually, I believe it's a Virgate Rabbitfish.
I am under the impression that this fish had been at Fin Addict for quite awhile. Apparently, they had problems trying to get that fish out of the tank for some time.

This fish is still an eating machine.
Stays out constantly and is almost as entertaining as a trigger that we used to have.
I am very pleased with this purchase.

I just bought one like that not too long ago. Mines is a 2 barred spinefoot. Looks exactly like that but doesnt have the yellow fins. Very colorful fish but im having a hard time getting him to come out. He was doing fine in his previous owners tank and he just sat there and let him scoop him out. Hopefully hell start coming out more because i really like him.

We had that fish "For Sale" for about 3 or 4 months, when we first opened. Since No One wanted him we threw him in the reef, then everyone and their mother wanted him! We will get more of those in, they are one of the most hardiest and beautiful reef fishes out there. Definitly one of my favorites!

I find it odd that nobody wanted this fish. I wanted it the first time I saw it and purchased it the second time I saw it.
To the Fin-Addict Crew:
I know you guys cut me some slack when it came to me wanting this fish.
I noticed it was in a tank marked "fish not for sale" and you still sold it to me anyway.
I think you did this because we drove in from Austin. Maybe you didn't, I don't know, but that's what makes Fin Addict so special for us. It's very obvious to Wendy and I that you appreciate your customers and go out of your way to please.
We very much appreciate, as always, the way you take care of us when we drive in from Austin.
Thanks again for everything and looking forward to our next visit (when we will probably need to fill a 150G - 210G tank).

My experience has been that most rabbitfish can be very shy when first introduced to a new community tank. Mine would always run and hide whenever I approached the tank. One of mine is now eating out of my hand when I feed Nori. Just give it time. They are very good feeders and will eat just about anything green, including bubble algae. They will also eat most meaty foods.

This guy already eats from my hand.
It wasn't an attempt to hand feed on my part. I went to put the nori in the tank and before I could even get the nori clipped, he had already snatched it out of my hand.
It was kinda funny though. When we first put the fish in the tank, the Yellow tang was its typical irritable self. Our yellow has always abused every new fish in the tank (except for small fish) and that happened for about 30 seconds this time.
The rabbit actually decided to take up residence in the yellow tangs cave.
Can fish be spiteful?
I've never seen a fish have a temper tantrum before. Fortunately, the rabbit didn't care for the tangs cave and moved out.
There has always been aggression on the yellows part about other fish getting too close. Now they all hang out together in the same cubic foot of water-very cool.

Viet-Tin-
Like Gary said, just give it time.
I suspect this guy was so used to seeing people back and forth in front of the tank he was in that he is pretty fearless about change.
It sounds as if yours has strayed from the comfort zone of the old tank and owner and is just readjusting to new people and surroundings.

Yea he comes out more than he used to. I brought some xenia for him(the only reason the previuos owner was getting rid of him) and he tore it up. After that he comes out more often just as long as theres no sudden movement.

Another Xenia eating Rabbit Fish! Or is this the same one? If this is common for his perticular Rabbit, FA could get 50 of 'em, and sell them in a week! I would buy two!!!!

After changing my rocks a little hes coming out more. He goes crazy during feeding time, pretty amusing watching trying to get every piece of food that passes by while panicing to find a hiding place.
