Hey all,

I got some zoas last night and put them in my QT tank, attached are some pics. This was under 6500K light, so they will look MUCH better under my 10,000K MH and super actinics :)

I do have a question, in the overview pic, the smallest frag of the orange and pink centered zoas has almost no rock, it is basically just polyps and there are several on the underneath side. I've never fragged zoas before(I know the precautions about protective eyegear and gloves), but can i just use tweezers to pull the underneath side of the zoa mat off of the top zoa mat? Or will I need to razor blade the mats apart? Does this make sense?

I just stuck mine in a hole on a larger rock and now I have thousands where I once had only a few... they don't seem to "jump" well so maybe i just got lucky that I found a great rock to sit the smaller rock into.

I've now done this several times using the same original zoa rock with great results

I just carefully rip the mat from the rock...

I'm not giving you a hard time... I just like the term, it applies VERY often in this hobby. One of my new favorite oxymorons
