Not sure what they are, they look like the alien babies. (from alien or just about any other movie with egg shaped babies) They grow/live/develop on the bottom of things, (plants, rock) and are white and sort of fuzzy looking. (hard to tell)
Anyone have a guess/know what they are?

I can try tomorrow when the lights are back on but it will be difficult, they are small and under things so even if you can see them .....

Ok, so they look like the pods that the alien critters were hatched out of? About 1/4 to 1/2 inch in height? We have a load of these things too...totally stationary, and attach themselves to the glass and rock in the back of our tank, and also in the sump. Heheheh...I don't have a clue what they are, but I think they are harmeless. If I had to take a guess, I would think they are some sort of tunicate.

Probably not the same thing but I have tons of little white things that are some type of sponge. They are in my overflow, sump, fuge, tank, pretty much everywhere. Here is a picture of what I have

"All over my tank, sump, and overflows I see what look like grains of white rice. They also seen to have a small tube like extension on one end.
You may have a small species of sponge, probably Leucilla,Leucandra, Scypha = Sycon, or Clathrina. These small sponges are often missed in nature due to their small size, but they are usually seen in our small glass boxes. They are taxonomically found in Class: Calcarea."
That is the description that goes with the pic, the pic doesn't look exactly like mine but the description matches. Here is a couple of pics that look like the ones I have.
