Yep, they will be fine. You could also keep a few small gobies with it ie: green banded, clown, neon...

Nope... I have a Yellow Clown Goby in my 10G Nano... and he's happy and cute as can be! :)

RCA in NW Austin usually carries them... and for about $7/each, I believe.
HTH! ;)

are you going to put a fuge on it? A fuge is really a stong tool in keeping a small tank stable :-) since it really isnt such a small tank anymore :-)

you know i think i might, i have an old hob filter that i think will do the job

i have a tetra HOB rated up to 30 gallons for filtration, i have a smaller one that i could be converted inot a fuge

All good choices, we also have a Midas Blenny in ours, a really cool fish with lots of personality!

There are a lot of companies that are now making items specificly for nano tanks. Filters, lights, chillers and all sorts of stuff. The march TOTM is a nano tank and you can do a search on the word "Nano" on this web site and poll up lots of threads. Do a lot of research before making purchases. Use us as a resource. Go check out other people's nano tanks and ask lots of questions. But most importantly, you have to maintain vigil over your new nano. A tank this small can go south on you very quickly so you cannot ignore it no matter what level of automation you put on it.

Good luck and post some pictures of your project. If you become a charter member (only 25 dollars a year - which helps to support this great site) you also get a members gallery where you can post pictures of you setup.

Well the ten gallon idea is gone, I bought a 29 gallon today and will transfer the 15 in a couple of weeks.

i know this sounds like i am asking a dumb question but i am not going to go out and buy fish without research, i just want to know what others think is a good fish idea for a 29 gallon that will have 2 occelaris clowns in it.

As I'am sitting here enjoying my 29 gallon with two Amphiprion occelaris clownfish and my two clown gobies. is there any more room for a fish who swims out in the open most of the day, my clownfish seem to poke there heads out between the rocks once in a while and my clown gobies are always on the sand swimming around and i can see them more than the clownfish, so here is my question...Do i have room for anymore fish ideally one that swims around int he open water of my tank? i would love a tang, but i know tangs need at least 80 gallons of water and a tank with a reasonbly length. is there a fish?

Pseudocheilinus hexataenia

A six-line wrasse will swim constantly out in the open. It also stays pretty small. Can become aggressive with any new additions or existing tankmates. Very pretty fish and easy to keep.

wow what a pretty fish, i have seen alot of people with those fish, the only thing is you said they can be aggressive towards other fish, that is kind of a downside. but i will definently research that fish more in depth, and maybe see if a sixline wrasse will feel be at home in my aquarium

It all depends on the fish. I have had several. Some were docile while one became beligerent to everything in my tank, including fish 10 times his size. He was housed in a 135 gallon tank at the time so I don't think it was from the tank being too small.
