Had a question for you DIY people that make there own phyto

I have read on lots of forms that you can use Miracle Grow as a fertilizer to culture your phytoplankton. I was wonder about the different kinds of Miracle Grow like there is 12-4-8 and 8-7-6 types the only difference is that 8-7-6 does not have manganese or zinc and the Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Soluble potash is in lower concentration.

Does anyone know if that makes any difference?
