Thanks, I am still trying to figure out how to get good shots out of this camera. If the halides aren't on the picture are super blue. I guess the T-5's aren't helping any. I keep playing with the light, white balance, and other functions.

Good luck :wacko Just turn on all the lights, turn off the flash, put the camera in full auto mode, snap about 100 pictures, keep the 5 good ones and put up with the photophiles telling you you need to adjust your white balance :roll

All your pics look wonderful! How do your Purple and Desjardin get along?

BTW, you can come take some pictures of MY tank since I am not even close to being the photographer that you are! :skeezy

The tangs get along fine. Are you close by? I'd be happy to take some picture if you are in Austin or near Cedar Park.

I think the photophiles over on RC recommend using the flash... I've never had a good enough camera and flash unit to do that myself though ;)
Nor have I ever manually played around with white balance.... never had a camera where it's adjustable.

Keep up the good pictures Tim :)

When I use the flash they always look washed out.

Yeah, same here.... I think you have to have a nice SLR unit and fancy flash for that.
