This is my first overflow so I would like to know how to stop overflow noise. The outlet is pouring straight into the sump with a tee and filter sock to help with bubbles but it sounds like niagra falls. Any Ideas PLEASE?

Get a durso

Is your water falling all the way from to bottom of your overflow?

This is drilled, and already in place. Should I put some 45s or 90s on the pvc?

I would put a about a 9 in long 3/4 in. diameter flexible hose down in the over flow box into the larger tubing. This causes the water to go flow smoother and in the sumb I extended the pvc down below the water line.

What brand tank is it? Your normal overflow takes up a corner or center area and the water runs thru slits at the top. They have 2 holes drilled in the bottom. The water runs thru the slits and can drop all the way to the bottom. My tank has bulkheads in the bottom. I screwed the PVC with the durso in to the bulkheads. The water only drops about 4in in the overflow. Without the durso mine sounds like a toliet
