Mikeboy was searching for rplacement impellers for a PanWorld (same as a Blueline) but I don't think he ever found a supplier? I just took apart all my PanWorlds and cleaned them, I honestly don't see how the porcelin shaft would get broken?

Can you post pictures of the disassembled unit I could compare it to what I saw when I serviced mine?

Parts you should have:
1) Motor housing - should see a a big circular magnet that rotates around the impeller housing
2) Impeller housing with porcelin shaft - looks like a cup with a shaft coming up from the bottom
3) Impeller - this could be stuck into the housing pretty tight if you have lots of calcium build up
4) Outer housing with pipe fittings

Note - there are no moving parts that connect the motor to the impeller - it is all done with magnets!

shouldthe porcelin shaft be by itself with a little black looking piece on one end.

No, at least my PanWorld's are not made that way. These pumps are quite different than what you may be used to in other (Mag, Rio, Eheim, etc.) water pumps. These are made to last a loooooong time and are very different in their design.

The shaft should be permanently connected to the impeler housing and the impeller sits down over the shaft.

I searched via Google but could not find a drawing to show you, I'll try again?

i have blueline pumps (basicly iwaki), not [quote]
(Mag, Rio, Eheim, etc.). [quote] i think the shaft broke off the impeller i can pull the shaft out and it is seperate from the rest of the housing, i sucked up a bunch of arm media, i can feel it coming on it just wont circulate any water,. i was impressed with these pumps when i took them apart i just think mine snapped

Hum, I couldn't even see the PanWorld shaft without getting the impeller out of the housing. Is the impeller apart from the housing?

Regardless, if you can pull out the shaft, sounds like it may be snapped?

I did find Iwaki parts (can't remember what website) but never found PW or BL parts. Maybe check with the supplier where you bought the pump? Don't be surprised, I think the impellers are kinda pricey.

i can pull the impeller out along with the shaft in my hand. the shaft is not connected to anything at all so it does not look good

Yup, sounds busted to me too?

Here is the site (http://www.customaquatic.com/customaquatic/subsubcategorypage.asp?subcatindexid=wp-wp-ipart1) that has Iwaki replacement parts, but these don't look identical to the PanWorld parts in mine???

I thought BlueLine and PanWorld were identical, but your description sounds more like these Iwaki parts???
