Have you checked to see if Aquatrend here in SA can make one for you?

yeah, but i was really hoping to go with a glass tank. i tried a 30 acrylic last year and i really didnt like it. it scratched so easily in my care and the scratches took so much away from the whole look of the tank.

do you know of any place that makes rimless glass tanks?

Contact Glasscages.com and see if they can build you one. They are reasonable on price and can customize a tank as they build it.

lax,

yeah thats the thread that im looking at. the reason im interested in a tank like this is because it looks nice with a pendant and thats just what i have, a 250w aquamedic pendant that id like to hang over the tank. the rimless look is very clean and pronounced to me.

thanks chris, ill give them a contact right now.

It does look nice that way, be even better if it was drilled through the back so it didn't have all the stuff hanging on the side.

I was just on the oceanic site and I know they had some rimless stuff. You have to go thru a dealer to order from them tho.

Rimless glass :?: I don't think that is possible! If so, I would like to see one.

theyre usually curved pieces hence making them pretty pricey. the front in the pick above has the two front corners curved with the back piece siliconed onto the front piece. im really wondering if these come in a 30 gallon.

They've got one of the glass rimless oceanic tanks in they're conference room. It's a beautiful tank. They've got pics of it in their portfolio on the website. Click on portfolio, aquariums, live plant aquariums. If you look in the lower right hand corner, the last two thumbnails are the tank I'm talking about. There are several shots of it.

I looked at it pretty closely the last time I was in there, and basically the tanks are peg/hole constructed.

They usually use eurobracing.....

Doesnt Aquatek have a rimless 58 or something in their freshwater section when you first walk in?
