Im still trying to decide what type of fish to keep in my 55g. I was thinking about a snowflake eel, a picaso trigger and a small foxface. How does this sound? If this combo is ok what order would you recomend adding them to the tank?
Thanks,
Mike

I think its ok, and would definitely do the picasso last, very last! They are awesome fish, but have a serious attitude.

Mike,
I know someone that is looking for a new home for a snowflake right now. I talked to him at Fin Addict last night. Its about 2 ft. He's not on MAAST but I told him to get on and post here. I have his phone # if you are interested. He's in SA.

Thanks Gary. How much is he wanting? I will definatly consider it. There is one at River City Aquatics here in Austin that 8-10 inches that I have had my eye on for a few weeks now. The only thing I worry about is adding a full grown eel before adding anything else.
Thanks,
Mike

So which would be better to add first, the foxface or the eel?

At first, I thought the foxface, but can't think of a reason of why you should add one first than the other. The foxface is a tank swimmer while the eel is for the most part a bottom dweller. He will probably find a nice cave or rock for himself (or herself). :D

Definitely add the trigger last, those picasso's are very aggressive!
My eel is fairly even tempered, in fact i hand feed him. Caution on adding anything small after the eel! shrimp should be added before the trigger or eel too! I added a $12.00 shrimp which lasted a good hot 5 secs in the tank, after a 2 hour acclimation, thanks to the picasso! So Beware!
Good luck with the tank
