Location

I notice other boards make it mandatory for you to note where you are located and was wondering why this one doesn't. I notice a lot of times that we have to ask where people are located when they post things for sale. Just thought it may help out.

The mandatory thing is in the setup of the forum and Im not even sure you can make it mandatory. As for the location in the selling forums the one posting could add it in the subject making it a little simplier for all.

Making location mandatory isn't an option with our forum software as Pete stated. It's up to the users who wish to sell items to make it known where they're located. 8)

Can a "suggestion" be put on top of the selling/trading forums like a "sticky" letting newcomers know that it is helpful to include this information?

It could be put there Jenn, but then its still up to the one posting to add it. Its basically common sense if you want to get rid of the item and not much different than say for example; "San Antonio ReefTopia Order". :)
