Can anyone identify if this is a flatworm or not? I have seen a few of these in my tank and want to make sure their not sps munchers.

Yes its an Aoecel flatworm. They are detritivores and are also photosynthetic. Not a problem, they do not feed on corals. Here's some info on them.

After closer inspection of my rocks, it appears that I have quite an infestation. I want to wipe these guys out before I transfer my livestock over to my new tank. Does flatworm exit work on these guys? I also think I have the dreaded red mites. I have read good things about the interceptor treatment. I just need to get my hands on some. Anyone have any ideas? or any left over?

Flatworm exit will kill about 99% of them, but my experience is that you will never be totally free of them. They will come and go. Your other option is Chelidonura varians nudibranch. Its the only thing they will eat. I've had some success with them but they are not a permanent solution either.

Felipe at Fin-Addict said they totally wiped out the flatworms in his hexagon show tank.

Those sea slugs that eat flatworms are good for it, but they also have a small lifespan in a reeftank, ive read on these b4 and i thought it was a bad idea, especially if they die your gonna have more of a toxin problem, from what i read that is!! go on reefcentral and do a searce on them!!

Yea, their life expectancy is only about 6 months and they don't ship well. I had CB Pets order me some and I picked them up on arrival. They're not cheap either. I was wondering about a group order on them. The problem is that they are in short supply so getting a really good price may be hard to do.
