Do you need a powerhead in a 5 galon nano?

I put a Maxijet 400 in it and the fish were surfing.
It was way to much.
I thought I needed something, but now I am not sure.

I just have 1 large piece of live rock in there for right now.
Would like to add some small coral at some point.

It is a Eclipse 5 gallon corner unit.
The kind with the little Bio-Wheel included.

I just have two firefish and a lawnmower blenny in there.
They seem to be doing fine.
Does it need more waterflow than that?

Wow, two firefish and a lawnmower blenny? Search over at nano-reef.com There is a company that makes a nano sized pump. What kind of filter are you running? I would think the filter would produce enough water movement for a 5 gallon

The eclipse has the little internal pump, carbon pad and biowheel.

That is the only filtration I have at the moment.
The Blenny just stays in a whole in the rock. and the two little firefish are tiny, and they all get along fine.

MikeyBoy, that's quite a bioload for a 5 gallon. I would limit it to one fish in there, or you will probably end up with problems in the future... especially if you want to keep it stable for corals.
