You found that in Charleston? Are you chilling the tank and if so how cool?

Gary,
I found it at the Columbia zoo. They had a approx. 100 gallon tank with about a dozen of them in the tank. I would imagine a large chiller would due the trick????

Gary, I recently read an article on cold water anemones. Can't remember where, or I'd provide the link. If I recall correctly though, the guy was keeping the water temp around 63 degrees. :o
Jim - NICE score !! ;)

I think Shimek has written some things about cold water tanks. It's difficult to keep condensation off the glass; maybe acrylic is better for cold water tanks.

other than a user's preference (visual disturbance) is there anything wrong with condensation on the glass?

Constant "salt creep" running down the front and sides onto the stand causing ... whatever.Unless you are there to dry it off 24/7

oooooh, I didnt imagine that non-tank water collecting on the glass would've added to salt creep. point noted :D

Not salt creep, but using it as a referrence. Salt creep gets everywhere and seems to grow well so will condensation.

Salt creep can actually wick over the edge with the condensation. Talk about mold! Constant dripping on the floor.

They had a nice display of these at moody gardens last time I was there.
