well, say good bye to the pods you have in your tank..probably the 6 line ate them all by now, so your mandarin wont have anything to eat...and about the 6 line fighting with the mandarin, thats odd, both are very peaceful fish.

My sixline has been bothering my algae blenny, but it seems to have slowed down after a couple of weeks. If you have a large enough tank I'm sure it will ease up.

Sixlines can be nightmares on smaller more peaceful fish. I would say that some can be peaceful, their personalities range from *****cat to pit bull. Hopefully he's just letting the mandarin know he's the boss and will let him alone after that. If not I would pull out one of them, the mandarin won't tolerate too much of a beating before he goes belly up.

Even with the fuge, you have two apex pod predators there, the question is now whether or not your fuge can re-supply the main tank fast enough. hope so! :)

That has not been my experience.

I've had a Mandarin and a Six line together for just short of a year. I still see pods running around when the lights go out. Both the wrasse and the Mandarin look very fat and health.

The Mandarin has been in my 135 since March 03. I added the six line to help with pyramid snails in Jan 04. My wrasse doesn't bother my Mandarin.
