I was thinking of starting another Austin order, as we need more clean-up critters :)
I could be here to accept the shipment, and don't they give even *more* of a discount if shpmt. is accepted on a Wednesday or Thursday?

Carlos - Medina isn't exactly close to Austin. I looked it up, and appears to be even further away from Austin than San Antonio...looks to be about 150 mi. trip (one way)? Just FYI

Wendy,

Lets get it started.

I was thinking of the following:

Blue leg crabs 20
Turbo snail(astrae) 70
Cerith snail 30
nerite snail 30
Pepermenit Shrimp 5
Fighting Conch 4 (Is this the one that will turn your sand? And you need 1 for every 2' of tank)

Let me know how much it is?. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Fighting conch, yes, good,,, one per every 2 square feet of >open sand surface<. They wont go under rocks. Might wanna add some Nassarious snails also as they do a great job of keepng the sand white.

Wendy are you stating a Austin one

I can do that, no problem. I would *like* to shoot for a Thursday delivery, as I wouldn't mind having a Reeftopia t-shirt :)
We need to see how many people are interested, I guess. I know Chris wants more crabs and snails, but will have to talk with him tonight or tomorrow to verify quantity first. I will be more than happy to accept the delivery, contact people when goods arrive, float bags in our sump (tank temp. betw. 77 and 78 degrees) until pick up, but cannot place live creatures in our tank (for obvious reasons) and we can't be responsible for death if the item(s) it they cannot be picked up in a timely manner. Payment w/b needed in advance...cuz we ain't rich :) Hmmmm...I think that's about it. Does that sound reasonable?

Sooooo...Who all is interested?

Carlos - I'll get Chris to figure out what all he wants and PM you.

***Since this looks like it may take off, is there anyway to split the SA order and the Austin order into two different threads? (Sorry SuperX...didn't mean to hop on your thread) Can that be done?

Oh, also...Carlos...
Chris and I were talking about it, and I don't think those things growing in the upper RH side of your tank are aptasia. Been checking my books, but haven't seen a pic of anything like it yet. Will let you know via PMsg. if I can identify. (not sure if that is why you were going to buy peppermint shrimp).

Wendy,

You are right one it. That is why the peppermint is for. I had Aaron from aquatek look at it the first time I had it pretty bad and that is what he said it was. Plus everytime you touch it retracts. I believe that it is in the aptasia family.

Also in the reeftopia website, it said something about free shipping with certain dollar amount.

Thank you JimD for letting me know about the figthing congch.

Wendy add 20 Nassarious snails to my order.

Come on Austin people this is a good deal, if more people orders.

Unless you want to pay $3.99 for a turbo snaill at the LFS.
