View Full Version : Average number of unique corals in your tank

I was wondering what number of unique corals most people had in their tanks. My buddy thinks we have a large number of corals. I think not. I have a 90 gallon tank with 38 corals. Now if a zoo is a different color than another I counted that. So zoos alone dont count as one.

Yeah, I have around 34. I don't think that is too bad for 5 months.

But probably not as many as scuba steveo or kopplin!

I am assuming greater than 50 in my 115, but I could be wrong. i'll count later :D

What would also be interesting is number of corals per gallon....

My 34 are in a 46 bow front.... so thats 0.73913043478260869565217391304348 corals per gallon

I'm screwed on this since I just went from a 37 to a 115. I had the same 50 in my 37g though :D

Most I ever had was ~75 in a 45g. It was fun but hard to maintain the proper CA/alk levels, check it out:

i have 35-38 in my 175. Really weak, but......i just started with the corals a few weeks ago. I had an unfortunate expierence with the coral-sitter.......killed all my SPS :(
