I really need to clean out all my buckets and jugs. The salt deposits are really starting to build up. I've already tried soaking with hot water and scrubing with a brush. Doesnt work. So I think Im going to try and use some vinager to soak the buckets with. Anyone ever done this before? What would be a good ratio of Vinager/Water?

Thanks,
Mike

get the 9% vinegar in the gallon size at HEB. stuff works great for removing coraline, salt deposits, almost anything SW related that builds up deposits/residues.
It does STINK though! So beware. lol
Ratio? Whatever you can stand the smell of works for me ;)

I use a lot of vinegar. Regular vinegar is 5% acetic acid. I clean my pumps every couple of months to remove calcium deposits. You can dilute it anywhere from 10-50% depending on how heavy a deposit you are trying to remove.
