In Austin.

Has anyone seen their SW setup? I know that when they opened, they weren't doing SW, but it seems that they are now. Any comments?

Small SW setup... Lots of live rock at the moment, limited selection on fishies, but they do have a buetifull harliquin tusk and a nice butterfly... 2 huge yellow tangs, lots of snails, keyhole tang (im getting it), 1 firehawk, 1 viol. lionfish, couple blennies, couple gobies, 1 wolf eel, damsels, 1 clarki, 2 huge nice tomato clowns, 2 anenomes, couple other misc. fish. Thats all i can remember from this morning....

On another note, Carlos is a **** good guy, always helped me out when i had tangyakin tanks (fronts, calvus, etc.) Helped me ease into sw with some hookups, real nice guy. Always there also.

Thanks for the response.

Just FYI, they are having an after hours sale on Friday 10/1 7p-10p. Ad in the classifieds (AAS) says 15% off SW.

I went in yesterday and today and the store seems to be coming along pretty good. GREAT PRICES!!! Their MOST EXPENSIVE live rock is cheaper then anywhere else in town, except for Tims house.LOL I didnt check out the dry goods prices, but all the live stock prices were cheap.Im not sure who it was I talked to; big guy glasses buzz cut, but not only was he more then willing to help Im surprised I could get him to stop talking. They seem to be very customer service driven. I recommend checking them out. They dont have much right now, but if we support them they will be able to grow. Then we will end up with another great store with great people and great prices.

Hope everyone gives these guys a try. They are trying very hard to have a top notch store, and the more we give the more we will be able to get. Besides, the stores right around the corner from my appartment. :D

Mike

PS
I swear they arent paying me LOL

You talked to Carlos, he's the owner/manager, I'm usually the only other person working up there, but sometimes his girlfriend, or another guy Dave (very tall, bearded guy) comes in to help, like during our monthly sale. I'm not posting to toot our own horn, by any means, I just noticed the thread and thought it was cool. Just to let you guys know, we get saltwater and liverock in on Tuesdays, usually, but sometimes Thursdays, and dry goods on Fridays. If you want to come by and see us with a good amount of stock, come in on Tues or Weds, because the stuff moves kinda fast. Glad to see we're on here (now, if only we'd get in the Pet Store Listing section on here, hmm..).

You can be listed. You must become a sponser though, and I have been working with Carlos on this.

Let's cut some red tape: I don't think he have to be a sponsor to be listed in the "Pet Store Listing section on here" http://www.maast.org/stores.php

Vinh, your right.
GoCarradoGo, send a PM to Joshua and he can put the store information on the listing.
