Hi, I came across a foxface but was wondering what everybody thinks about them..Thanks!!!

cool fish, eat lots of algae......they are poisonous though

Yeah, I read they are venomous, are they good reef fish?

oh yeah, I see them in tons of reefs. I am on the watch for a Fiji Foxface. Very reef safe.

My foxface is a great community/reef fish. The only draw back is that he will eat ANY macro, including chaetomorpha.

I have a Foxface in both of my tanks. You'll never have to worry about bubble algae or Bryopsis. I had a small outbreak and that's why I got them after I gave up on emerald crabs.

They are fairly shy in the beginning but are great eaters and low maintenance fish. They will eat just about anything. I've seen mine suck down a large piece of nori like it was spaghetti. I've never had a problem with them being poisonous. Just don't grab them.
