I walked in to see one of my new percs having a tough time swimming. He was getting beaten up by a saddleback, so i pulled the pair and put them in my fuge. I knew he was going to die by the way he was swimming. For a while, his partner kept rubbing him and swimming around him. Then he grabbed his fin and just about killed him. Why would he do this????

clowns should never be mixed..they are territorial and will kill any other clowns that arent the same species...even so, you should never have more than 3 clowns of a species..except marrons, you can only have 1 mated pair.

Ya, I have heard of this before. Sorry to hear Alex. I would not even try to add another to any established pair or trio. Very tough guys when it comes to territory.
