They went out of business.......they were the cheapest place around for MH bulbs.....it was a business created by a hobbyist for a hobbyist.......wish there were more like this guy. He was top notch, its a shame to see him go. :(

yeah, i heard. Problem is, I need 250w DE bulbs, and they were $55 each for 20k and Coralvue is $65 per bulb. I also need 2 250w e ballasts and 2 PFO mini pendants.

Alex, hear is another place you can try that had great prices. I bought my 400 watt elect ballasts from them. Very fast shipping from them also.

Lets see....$210 with tax for 3, or $165. That doesnt seem to be $10 to me........looks closer to $45..........hey cliff, they are $49.95 there!

Alex,

Figure in the shipping into your costs. Unless you have a big group order they usually hit you with a fairly high shipping costs for bulbs because of the extra packing material. Its really amazing how much those peanuts cost.

LOL! 45$ is not that bad. Have you contacted Greg? You will pay it somewhere, why not support the hobbyist. Ask Greg how many bulbs need to be bought to get a group discount? I am in need of 4 DE Bulbs also. If the deal is good I will get in with you.

You know I like giving you a hardtime, its funny how we get for our reeftank when it is something we really want! Hows the stream doing? :-D

Just looked at the oceanencounters site, if they can do it I would really call Greg! 49.95 that is a great price. If you have not meet Greg he is super cool & will work with you. He might be able to dropship them to you. Saving $$$

Ok i just got this quote. $49 each for DE 250w, any kelvin. $95 for Coralvue pendants, i need 2. $10 shipping for all. I doubt anyone can touch that deal. Grand total of $350 for 2 pendants, 3 bulbs.
