Hey everyone,
relatively new user here, but I've lurked on/off for a while. I'm trying to figure out how to configure a sump for my 120. I was going to try and go the cheapo plastic container route, but I can't really find them in the right sizes. I'm thinking of getting a custom-built acrylic sump to hold a DSB and fuge, as well as the usual suspects (skimmer/pump). Does anyone have any recommendations on a cost effective way to do this? I've never worked with acrylic before, but I would consider it if I could convince myself that I could build something that wouldn't leak and it didn't take me forever. I looked at the My Reef Creations ReefSump and it looks great, but I don't have any intention of paying $385 for a sump.

Alternatively, I think I can fit an AGA 40G breeder tank in there, and that's < $100 at Petco.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

TwinPlecos,

I just got a fuge from Dan. I highly recommend his work. I currently have a seperate sump (30 gal low) and this new fuge from Dan on my 125 gal.

I have one I will be parting with soon. 37X15X12 Nice sump. Dont know how soon you need it, I look to replace it real soon. Have to get another tank drilled & put baffles in place. You can check the gallery, there is a pic of it there. It is glass.
