OK. I am under attack of the bristle worms. These things are taking over the tank. How do I get rid of them?

Please help...

Well if you really want them out, you can bag as many as you can & drive them to me. LOL But seriously I will take them. I dont really know why you want them out, you did say they are taking over the tank though..Duh As far as getting them out use twizzers or some have made a trap outta panty hose & a 20oz. coke btl. I like the twizzer method!

IMO they are great for any setup, I am in Austin. I am sure some SA'n will snatch them from you.

OK. So there is nothing negative that these little fellas can do to my tank?

cut down your feeding & they will die off slowly.

I had a bristleworm explosion about 5 months ago, then roughly 3 months ago, the population dropped off.

Perhaps it stabilized to a level the tank could reasonably maintain?

My Copperband would be more than happy to take care of your bristle worms. I think most wrasses and arrow crabs eat them too. Unless they are really huge they are not really that big of a problem.

Between my six-line wrasse and my copperband I don't have any bristleworms in my tank. I'm hoping to correct that with a fuge.
