Hello folks,

As of yesterday we have a new store in SA. I stopped by Fin Addict yesterday and talked to Felipe and Sarah, the owners. They officially opened yesterday and were getting a shipment of fish in yesterday and ordering some corals this weekend.

He's located on Nacogdoches, past where Pet of the Sea was located. He's a little hard to find because the strip center he is in is behind a gas station. The best landmark is that he is next to Tom's Ribs. Look for the big reef mural on the facade above the shop.

If nothing else its worth the trip to see the MONSTER skimmer that Matt built for the shop. If some of you haven't seen the previous posts about this shop, it is SW only.

Is that outside the loop?

It's inside 1604. If you take Nacogdoches south from 1604 it will be about 1/2 mile on the right after O'Conner Road, just after you come up the hill.
Like Gary said it sits behind a gas station (Citgo I believe) but it is an unattended type, just pumps on the corner and Tom's Ribs is right next to it. I believe theres a Ryans on the other side of the road.

Went in tonight around 7pm, very nice setup and they're still working on it. Man that is a huge skimmer tha Matt made for them, still not up and running yet but still sweet. He showed me the back area and the setup he has for his Live Sand setup. This will make a nice addition to the San Antonio area from what I can see.

BTW, if anyone missed out on the RBTs from Tim, he has some small for 44.99(I think that was correct) and they were very nice.

Steve - lol, still not fair! Just kidding. Yeah it's surprising S.A. now has so many stores. You would think the Austin area would have more as it has a better economy.

What ever happened to the one that was supposed to open on Culebra? I think it was inside 410 and someone posted like 5 months back.

I think that one was actually at a persons house so it probably didn't last too long. It has to be a lot of work to setup/run a fish store and it's hard to get business if you don't get the word out to those in the hobby.

Yes, there are a lot of LFS in SA. I think the issue has been more about quality than quantity.
