Hey all, as promised long ago. There is no one picture that shows the entire tank, because the tank is a hex, the camera has a hard time penetrating the angles of glass, I have not been able to produce a full tank picture I liked as of yet.

The following link has a few pictures of some of the corals living in my tank, but does not include everything.

The page is temporary, and I will hopefully have the time to throw up some spiffy graphics and so on in the near future, until then, hope you enjoy a few simple pictures of my reef.

Oh, and because someone always asks:

Nikon Coolpix 4300
Tripod was used
Many shots used the Close up function w/out the benefitof a flash curiously the higher up in the tank I went, the greener shots would get, I turned the flash on and got good results. Some pictures have been color balanced, but the photos represent truthfully what is there, no 'enhancement' was done.

Thanks!

It's cool to see how well a decent point-and-shoot camera can do :)

thanks sam! the red one you gave me is blastomusa right? I haven't been able to get an accurate pic of it because of glass angle... hopefully soon. Is one of these the ones you guys call the bali green slimer?

I had two types of blastomussa ....
the smaller one (looks zoo-ish) with the tourquise centers is Blastomussa Merletti
the larger one (looks mushroom-ish) was the Blastomussa Wellsi

I didn't see a pic of the Green Slimer
the slimer is an Acropora, very different than the first two pics
it more resembles the purple millipora (which is also an Acropora)

hope the info helps ...

that does help! Thanks...

the blasto i have is a maroonish red w/ a mint pink center, looks kind of mushroomy, so I am guessing Wellsi?
