have tryed cleaners 3 times now and they all die. nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, ph normal. any ideas?

ever used copper in the tank?

no. had cleaners before in the same tank. let tank sit for 3 months with nothing in it. started it up agian and instant death.

i havent used copper, but is there a copper test?

FWIW I cant keep them alive either. DId you acclimate them slow enough? Its recommended to do it double what you would do other things.

i had my two old ones for over a year. i think my pistol shrimp killed them. just dumped right into tank. i did drip the new ones after trying to dump the first one. same effect. mabee longer this time.
