Well I came home the other afternoon to the worst sight possible. My center brace on my 215 had fallen into the tank. Luckily no-one was harmed all fish and corals survived the crash. My tank had a serious bow but nothing too bad. Well now come the fun emptying the tank and getting the brace redone. Sounds like fun the me. anybody want to buy a 215gal tank.

Sorry to hear that, this is one of my biggest concerns now with the 240.
Henry, is this an Oceanic Tank ?
Isn't this tank fairly new ?

I wouldnt rip the tank apart just because of the center brace, you can easily repair ir yourself. Just drain enough water t allow access to the bottom of the brace, get yourself a bar clamp long enough to span the tank, get as much of the old silicone off as possible, apply a good epoxy to the brace, install it in its original position, slowly clamp it down so its snug, not overly tight, leave the clamp on for a mnimum of 24 hours, remove the clamp... worked great for me. Might be worth a shot anyway.

Jim I was thinking about doing that. I might just go that route. The tank is less than a year I think. No its not an Oceanic tank.
