Just thought I'd post a pic of the Atlantic Surgeon Tang that Reeftopia sells

Since Reeftopia doesn't have a pic for this tang
or a scientific name to look up ....

I still have pretty much all the fish ....
a lot of stuff are put on hold ..... but you know how it goes .... held today , let go tomarrow ....

the problem is I've still got to many corals in all the tanks .... I havn't been able to catch a fish yet .....

Steve (xien2000corp) sent me what he thought what the scientific name for this guy was but I cant find the link
If the identification is correct, your looking at a possible 12" - 14" fish .....

and the little babies (1") that reeftopia sells are so small ....
This guy is in a 29gallon and I feel he has outgrown in ... he's about 3" - 4" ....

just found it : Acanthurus chirurgus
http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/fish/Gallery/Descript/DrFish/Doctor.htm
lots and lots of personallity .... we have stairing contests together .... I usually win ;-)

Look up Acanthurus bahianus [/] and see if that's it. Check www.fishbase.org and see if they have any pictures of juvenile specimens. The only other tang I see for sale regularly from Atlantic waters is the Atlantic Blue Surgeon [i] Acanthurus coeruleus .
