I was wondering who has an anemone?
Specifically I would like to know the following:
Kind of Anemone
Tank size
Lighting
Tank temperature
Is there a clown hosting or not
If so, what kind of clown is it.
Thanks!

well, a whole bunch of us are ABOUT to have anemones... :) (sorry, know that doesn't help.)
RBTA on order. Will be in a 30 gallon for about 3 weeks before getting moved to a new cube between 50 and 90 (can't find any larger than 50 right now.)

I have Anemones, I have had one in my tank for all my yrs of reef keeping. Nothing to them, however dont try a sebae anemone. They are not good. My first tank was a 75 then a 115, now a 240. I had PC's for a while, then went to halides. I have had bulb , a Long Tenacle, current ly I have two bubble anemones now. Started as one , split. They have been a host to my Maroon Clowns. My tank currently holds 77-79 degrees.
I am going to be getting 2 of the RBTA's :-D

Well, the main thing I was interested in was the tank temperature and lights.
My tank sits around 77 to 78 so I guess that will be fine, but my friend Dave Havrda was wanting one and his tank is sitting around 82 to 84. He thinks his tank is too hot so I thought I would ask.
Of course my lighting is where I guess I'm weak... 2x96watts is only a little over 4 watts per gallon.

My tank was not always as cool, My Anemones have always done well. Now that I think of it I have two others I recieved with a rock purchase. They were a Bonus Prize, Free! I would think Dave's would be fine.

I have a 8 month old 90gal with a single BTA, but I'm on the RBTA order list as well. I transferred everything from my daugthers 10gal nano after it cycled. That included a small greenish-brown BTA. It has been fine the entire time and my newest false perc is hosting in it.
Tanks sits at a constant 78F(thinking about bumbing to 80F to save a little chiller electricity)
2 x 250W MHs with Hamilton 14Ks, and 2 X 110W VHO actinics

So right now, I have a fan blowing on the top of my tank. The temp would get down to 74 to 75 if I left it alone, but I set the heater at 78 so my tank stays around 77 to 78. Should I keep my tank hotter or colder than 77 to 78?

If you can get it to hold within 77-78 your doing great.

I have a Long Tentacle in my SPS tank. My temp runs between 80-85 and the anemone does fine. As a matter of fact it has really grown and I expect it to split pretty soon.
